Dr. Jolie Daigle

Dr. Jolie Daigle is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and sees clients at Athens Area Counseling Center on a part-time basis. Dr. Daigle completed a master’s degree in school counseling and doctorate in counselor education. Dr. Daigle has been a licensed professional counselor in two states- Louisiana and Georgia. 

 Dr. Daigle has worked in school, mental health, and university settings across her career. Her approach is strengths-based and utilizes evidenced-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy. Additionally, Dr. Daigle is trained in the area of play therapy and uses play and expressive arts to build rapport, teach clients new behaviors and skills, and create an environment that counseling can be fun. Dr. Daigle provides counseling services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families with presenting issues ranging from mental health conditions (i.e. anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma) to life changes (i.e. divorce, adoption, moving, job loss, grief). She provides telemental health services on a case by case basis.

Dr. Daigle is a self-pay clinician and offers a sliding scale rate. For those seeking out-of-network insurance reimbursement, a superbill bill will be provided as documentation.
